Who we are
Dingil Tour LLC was founded in 2016 to share the western Mongolian homeland we grew up in. Led by CEO Dingil Tukyei, over 15 years a professional guide, we run safe, carefully organised and genuinely personal trips, from glacier base camps to a night in an eagle hunter's ger.
Our crew is chosen with care: two full time guides, six cooks and eight drivers who know every pass, river crossing and family along the way. We keep groups small and the itinerary yours to shape.

The Altai's greatest spectacle
Each autumn, Kazakh hunters gather on Eagle Hunting Hill to compete with the golden eagles they have trained by hand: horseback games, eagle calling from 200 metres, and centuries of tradition in a single weekend. Spend the days before it living with an eagle hunter's family, then witness the festival itself.
Why travel with Dingil
Our 4×4 Russian vans are driven by locals with decades on Mongolia's dirt roads, and several are trained mechanics, so a breakdown is never a problem.
Six full time cooks travel with us. Expect fresh meals in the middle of nowhere and a proper Kazakh dinner in an eagle hunter's ger.
Border zone permission and National Park permits for the Altai are all arranged for you, nothing to figure out on arrival.
We were born in Bayan-Ölgii. That means eagle hunters, throat singers and nomad families welcome you as guests, not tourists.
Every itinerary and price can be amended to your dates, interests and budget. Prefer horses to hiking? Add a day at the lakes? Just ask.
Your English speaking guide bridges language and culture the whole way, including our manager Akhbidai, better known as "Happyday".
